Elijah Bishop attended Pepperdine University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine with a minor in Nutritional Sciences. After obtaining a certification in massage therapy, Elijah decided to further his education and obtained a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College.
In 2003, Elijah relocated to the Coachella Valley where he formed a partnership with another physical therapist and opened an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Rancho Mirage.
After carefully analyzing his history, experience and strengths, Elijah realized that his vision of the ultimate physical therapy clinic had evolved. Therefore, in 2006, Elijah became the founder of Elite Physical Therapy and Wellness located in La Quinta, CA.Currently, Elijah maintains his position as regional director and lead physical therapist at all Elite Physical Therapy & Wellness locations as well as Coachella Valley CrossFit. Currently he is the only Orthopedic Certified Specialist in the Coachella Valley that also holds Level 1 certificates in both CrossFit and Fascial Stretch Therapy.”
Robert A Harper Jr. graduated from Loma Linda University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. He also has a BS degree from Cal State San Bernardino University in Kinesiology and a BA from UCLA in Sociology.
Robert became a physical therapist because he enjoys helping people as his own therapist helped him to recover from his injuries. He believes that there is nothing more gratifying than helping someone achieve their goals.
Currently, Robert manages the Rancho Mirage and Desert Hot Springs locations. He is also a Level 1 CrossFit coach at Coachella Valley CrossFit.
Judith’s interest in Physical Therapy began in high school where she was involved in extra curricular activities, many of which revolved around sports. This interest developed into the desire to make Physical Therapy her profession. This training was formalized by obtaining a Bachelor of Sciences Degree, then a Master’s in Physical Therapy at Andrews University and finally a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University.Since Judith began working as a physical therapist, she has worked in different settings, including inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing and traveling assignments, which has required her to use many skills. Her primary interest is in Outpatient orthopedics, including post-surgery and sports injuries. It is her goal to continue to grow and improve her skills as a practitioner.
Lora Murphy grew up in Tucson, Arizona where she had years of dance lessons in tap, jazz and ballet. She also participated in many sports including volleyball and track.
After attending the University of Arizona, Lora moved to California where she discovered her passion for Jazzercise and became a certified instructor.v Today she owns, directs and manages a Jazzercise franchise hosting classes five days a week.Lora’s strong belief in health and wellness eventually brought her to Elite Physical Therapy in February 2008. She has further expanded her knowledge of the human anatomy, rehabilitation and fitness becoming a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant through Loma Linda University.
Cecilia Ghosh graduated from Loma Linda University with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2000. Since graduating, Cecilia has worked in a variety of clinical settings in Orange County and the Inland Empire, however, her primary interest is in Outpatient Orthopedics. She joined the Elite Physical Therapy and Wellness staff in 2011.Cecilia found that Physical Therapy fit well with her active lifestyle and thrives on helping people feel better and be able to return to the activities they enjoy.

James was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He moved to southern California after serving 5 years in the Marine Corps.He then attended Loma Linda University graduating with an Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant in 2013.
Linda earned her Pilates Certification through the Pilates Sports Center of Ventura, CA, an accredited member of the Pilates Method Alliance.
Linda joined the Elite Physical Therapy staff in October of 2009. She has been providing Pilates instruction since 2007 and has performed over 10,000 hours of client and personal training.
Linda specializes in therapeutic Pilates and works closely with our Physical Therapists to ensure that the rehabilitation our clients experience is maintained, in addition to improving their general strength and flexibility. All sessions utilize specialized Pilates equipment, including the Reformer, Chair, Tower/Cadillac and Core Fitness Roller. Most of her clients play golf or tennis, and she has been successful in helping them improve posture, alignment and flexibility, therefore improving their athletic performance.
